Bicycles, Skateboards, & Razor Style Scooters

Students can come to school and leave school by bicycle, skateboard, or Razor style scooter. 
•    Palisades is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged bicycles, skateboards, or Razor style scooters. 
•    Younger students should be accompanied by an adult. 
•    Children under the age of 18 years old in California must wear a helmet whenever they do anything on wheels. This includes bicycles, skateboards, or Razor style scooters. The helmet cannot be old. It must be fastened and securely fitted, and meet The American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) or the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) standards. 
•    Students are not permitted come to school and leave school by an electric or a motorized vehicle such as a bicycle, motorcycle, skateboard, or Razor style scooter. (A rider of electric or motorized vehicles must be 16 years old and have a driver’s license, as per various California Penal Codes such as 405, 406, and 407.)
