About Us

Opening in 1961, Palisades Elementary School is the only public school in Capistrano Beach. Palisades sits on a bluff, surrounded by homes, near the Pacific Ocean. There is a beautiful ocean view from throughout the school. Known as the “Waves,” many Palisades families enjoy going to local beaches, such as Capo Beach, throughout the year due to the pleasant California coastal weather and “totally cool” waves at breaks like Doheny just up the road.
